Kanye West is reportedly refusing to apologise to Taylor Swift at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, for embarrassing her on stage at the ceremony three years ago.

The ‘Mercy’ rapper sparked outrage when he interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video in 2009, to say that “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.”

A source close to the controversial rapper says that while Kanye is sorry for his actions and has nothing against Taylor personally, he will not be offering her an apology.

“Come on, Kanye ain’t trying to apologize for some sh*t that happened years ago,” the insider told HollywoodLife.

“He ain’t into rehashing old sh*t. I know he feel bad about that old sh*t but he was going through a lot back then and that’s in the past. He likes Taylor, and he thinks her music is dope but Kanye don’t make no apologies for sh*t even when he’s in the wrong.”

The 2012 VMAs will be hosted by Kevin Hart and will air on September 6.
