Coazones Blindados (on MundoFox) has offered viewers the opportunity to become involved a series that includes action, drama, and romance in just a weeks time. In the first few episodes we have been exposed to the various characters and their personal stories. We have also had the opportunity to see how the main characters Raul Avila (Actor,  Andrés Sandoval) and Diana Ochoa (Actress, Majida Issa) have evolved. This series has something for everyone as it entails action, romance and suspense, but we also have the opportunity to see a new perspective into the crime scene in Colombia.

After experiencing the death of his father Raul Avila’s promises to capture the culprits of such a horrible crime. After graduating with honors he is assigned to work in one of the most dangerous zones on Bogota, Colombia. While working in Bogota, Raul meets Diana Ochoa who also continues to be in the force for personal purposes as she is seeking the whereabouts of her daughter’s father and boyfriend Vicente Yanez who was kidnapped by the Guerilla six-years prior. For six years Diana has closed her heart to love; nonetheless, after building a work relationship with Raul she begins to open up her heart to love.

Flashbacks play a significant role in the first few episodes of the series as they provide a window into the lives of the officers Raul Avila and Diana Ochoa. Nonetheless, much of the action takes place in real times as the police force is putting all their energy into keeping one of the most wanted criminals in custody. After the bike chase, viewers become aware that this criminal will definitely play a significant role in the series.

Within the first few episodes, the physical attraction between Raul and Diana is evident; however, their own vices and demons interfere greatly in their relationship as partners in the force.  Viewers get a sense that a romantic relationship will soon come about between the two officers; nonetheless, there is a sense of suspense as it is unknown whether or not Vicente Yanez will return at some point. Many questions arise: Will Raul and Diana pursue their feelings and begin a romantic relationship? Will Vicente return into Diana’s life? Will Raul capture his father’s murderers?
